Targets

A board target is the kind of record or resource a board item is about. Targets keep the process connected to governed data instead of making the board a loose parallel tracker.

For example, a board might manage service requests, warranty cases, inspections, or the Entity record that represents entitlement-related work. Opening the Entity target gives users the full business context behind the board card. Direct Entitlement targets exist for advanced API/C# integrations, but the full Runtime Board UI does not currently support that uncommon target workflow.
