Working Calendars
A Working Calendar is a stable identity whose patterns live in revisions. This keeps a past effective schedule reproducible when the ordinary pattern changes.
Create the first revision
Section titled “Create the first revision”- Open Work Schedule → Working Calendars.
- Create a calendar with a stable key, name, and optional description.
- Choose Create first draft.
- Add intervals. Each interval has a weekday, local start time, duration, and optional label, notes, and breaks.
- Save the Draft, end editing, review it, and choose Publish.
An empty week is a valid non-working pattern. Intervals last from 30 minutes to 24 hours and may cross midnight. Breaks must stay inside their interval and may touch but not overlap.
Revise a calendar
Section titled “Revise a calendar”Published revisions are immutable. Start a new Draft from an explicitly chosen Published revision, change the working copy, save it, and publish it with an effective local date. Past revisions stay available as history.
A future Published revision is Scheduled until its effective date and can be cancelled before then. Cancellation preserves the revision as immutable evidence and excludes it from effective selection.
Calendar patterns are zone-neutral civil time. The consuming Site determines the IANA time zone when the schedule is resolved.
