Work Schedule
Work Schedule answers a specific operational question: was this person scheduled to work at this moment, where, and under which pattern? It describes planned working time. It does not report attendance, physical presence, payroll, or time-clock events.
Work Schedule has two connected screens:
- Working Schedule shows the effective result after calendar assignments and exceptions are applied.
- Working Calendars is where authorized schedulers create, revise, and publish ordinary weekly patterns.
Start here
Section titled “Start here”- Make sure the Work Schedule module is enabled.
- Create or repair the Operational Location, Site, and Worker catalogs from Work Schedule settings.
- Optionally use Create menu section in Work Schedule settings to add Operational Location, Workers, Sites, Working Calendars, and Working Schedule to a user menu. You can also add either Work Schedule screen independently from the ordinary menu editor and reorder the result later.
- Create and publish a Working Calendar.
- Assign the calendar to Sites and Workers.
- Open Working Schedule and select a Worker, Site, or Matrix view.
Calendar authoring is available as soon as the module is enabled. Assignments and effective-schedule resolution additionally require the operational catalogs and at least one enabled calendar with a published revision.

Version 1 boundary
Section titled “Version 1 boundary”This version does not define shifts, crews or teams, published rosters, shift bidding, attendance or time tracking, absence approval, payroll, overtime calculation, capacity planning, or Worker-to-user association. Work Schedule records the scheduling effect of a decision; it does not own the decision or approval process.
