Import and export
Import and export move record data into or out of Moltaro when a team needs a bulk update, external review, migration, backup handoff, or integration-friendly file.
Every import should be treated as a controlled change to governed records. The available formats, fields, validation, and permission checks depend on the record type and the configured data-transfer profile.
Data Explorer import and export are desktop-only workflows. Narrow/mobile record cards deliberately omit both controls along with selection and other group/query-wide actions; switch to a desktop viewport before starting a transfer. Resizing to mobile closes an open import or export workflow instead of keeping a hidden group-operation dialog active. Moltaro cancels in-flight exports, template downloads, and import plans, then suppresses their late downloads or hidden-dialog errors.
An import Apply is different because it changes records. Once submitted, it is not cancelled by resizing or by moving to another Data Explorer record type. Apply processes the selected rows sequentially: every successful row is saved independently, a later failed row does not roll it back, and the completed request writes the import audit events for those successes. The same Apply cannot be submitted again, and another Apply cannot be started from that Data Explorer while it is running. If it finishes while you are still viewing the same record type, Moltaro refreshes the list and retains the exact per-row result for the next desktop opening of Import, without showing stale desktop feedback on the mobile screen. If you navigate to another record type, the old Apply finishes on the server but its result and notifications do not appear in the new Data Explorer.
