Lists

Lists are the main way users browse groups of records. A list usually shows the record label, important fields, status or responsibility information, and actions that make sense for the current record type.

Use lists to scan work, sort by useful fields, narrow results with filters, and open record details. In the desktop Data Explorer grid, you can also select records for supported group actions. The columns and actions can vary by configuration and by the current user’s permissions. Group archive, restore and delete ask for one reason, which is saved with every selected record.

The narrow/mobile Data Explorer uses compact record cards. It intentionally has no multi-record selection or bulk-action bar; actions there apply to one record at a time. Switch to the desktop grid when you need to merge, archive, restore, delete, export, tag, or change assignments for several records together. If the screen narrows from desktop to mobile, Moltaro clears the desktop selection and closes any pending group action; select the records again after returning to the desktop grid.

Pages with a fixed subset

Two menu entries can open different lists of the same record type, such as Active customers and Former customers. Each page can have its own columns and a Statement filter set by the configurator. Your search and filters narrow that subset further; clearing filters or choosing a saved view does not remove the page’s Statement filter.

Counts, pagination, and export follow the filtered results. In Tree View, accessible parent records can still appear as context for matching children. Reload the list after its configuration changes before exporting. If the page reports an unavailable Statement, ask a configurator to repair its setting. See Entity list page filters for setup.

Manual Order

When a list is configured for Manual Order, authorized users can move active records with the desktop drag handle or the shared Move… action available to keyboard and mobile users. A filtered, searched, differently sorted, Archived/All, or otherwise non-movable view explains why the action is disabled. Pages with a configured Statement filter also disable Manual Order moves. Movement never changes Board ordering and rejected moves never survive a page refresh. See Manual Order.
